The Contracts and Procurement Division?s Office of Procurement Inclusion and Equity (PIE) helps lead the State?s effort to create a sustainable increase in the procurement of goods and services from small, minority, women, and veteran owned businesses (small and diverse businesses). This is accomplished by creating a culture of procurement inclusion and equity and by creating a pipeline of small and diverse businesses to meet the state?s purchasing needs. ??
In this role you will provide outreach and technical assistance to diverse businesses, state agencies and other customers. You will implement solicitation outreach strategies, conduct outreach and education to state agencies and to small and diverse businesses, and lead the implementation of DES-hosted networking events and other events and engagements. You will use your technical knowledge and skills to assist the program by preparing for and organizing training, networking and matchmaking events and creating outreach materials.
