Folks, even though the endless news cycle may make it seem like the sky is always falling, I promise you that it is not.

However, here’s what I can tell you is true: Republicans are about to usher in a House majority that will try to take away our rights, dismantle our social safety net, and more. We can stop them – it’s what I’m fighting tooth and nail to do – but I can’t do it alone.

The sky isn’t falling but I urgently need your support to fight back against the incoming GOP House majority. Will you chip in $15 or more right now?

Let me be clear when I say that the incoming Republican House majority will push their far-right agenda starting on day one of being in power.

Voting rights, LGBTQ+ freedom, and reproductive care will all be at risk when the GOP House majority takes power. Previous generations of Americans have relied on access to Social Security and Medicare, but House Republicans have indicated that their majority won’t do a thing to protect them. In fact, they’ve already shown us the sort of brutal attacks that we should expect against them.

I want my children to live their lives with the same benefits that I had growing up, but this Republican House majority is putting that possibility in doubt for myself and so many other Nevadans.

So, even though the sky isn’t falling – clearly! – it’s important that we remain clear-eyed about the present danger that is the soon-to-be Republican House majority.

I’m not afraid to stand up to this GOP House majority and neither should you. But, I will need your help to take them on which is why I’m asking for you to chip in however much you can afford today.
