Dear Friend,

As Russia continues its invasion of Ukraine,
approximately 100,000 Service Members from various U.S. bases
have been deployed to Europe, with a couple of thousand more
already stationed abroad shifting to other European countries.

The last time Troop levels were this high in Europe was
in 2005, according to U.S. European Command records.

Many of the Troops who were deployed this past spring
were given as little as a week's notice and they scurried to take
care of their financial and family obligations before their
departure.

And requests for support and Care Packages from our
Troops sky-rocketed in April and May and have not let up.

In addition, our Service Members are deployed in more
than 150 countries around the world, with more than 160,000 of
its active-duty personnel stationed outside the United States and
its territories protecting U.S. citizens and our allies from
foreign aggressors.

I'm reaching out to you today because I hope that you
care about our deployed Heroes as much as I do and understand the
importance of keeping their morale high as they continue to serve
on our behalf.

No one knows how long our Troops will be standing in
ready mode in Eastern Europe in efforts to curtail Russia's
takeover of Ukraine and what they will be called to do. In
addition, with North Korea's Kim Jong-un flexing his muscles over
South Korea, and tensions rising between China, Taiwan and the
United States, many believe that war is on the horizon.

I'm sure that you can imagine that this is an emotional
time for our Troops and their families. There is so much unrest
and uncertainty in the world right now and our Troops know that
they are the "protectors" against these power-hungry aggressors.

And with so much uncertainty on the horizon, what our
brave men and women in uniform need now more than ever, is a
caring reminder that the people they are fighting for and
protecting haven't forsaken them.

The fact is that Service Members serving around the
globe reach out to AdoptaPlatoon for Care Packages and
specifically request items that they need due to being called for
duty on such short notice, shortages abroad or they just can't
get items they want in the country they are stationed in.

And AdoptaPlatoon, with your support, responds to every
one of their requests as quickly as possible. And we have for 24
years now...

Subject: My son deployed

Hello,

My name is Dawn Reall and my husband, Gus, and I
have been donating $33 a month for several years and I believe we
once provided socks to an entire platoon. Our son, XXXXX XXXXX,
was deployed to XXXXX about two months ago for his 9 month
deployment. The other day he sent us a picture of the attached
letter and boy it really made my day. First, that he knows we
have been doing this for years and now his entire group knows
too, secondly that he received a box from us and lastly that it
was proof too me that our money goes where you said it was going.
So, thank you for all that you do and all the other people
involved with this program!

Dawn and Gus Reall

Isn't that amazing?

Dawn's and Gus' words of support truly warmed my heart
and I hope they touch you as well and help you understand how
much your Care Packages mean to our Service Members and their
families.

I also hope that you will lend your support to our
brave men and women in uniform.

For a one-time gift of $38, your Care Package will be
chocked-full of items that our Service Members have requested
including hand sanitizer, cleansing wipes, field dental kits,
nail clippers, bootlaces, and socks.

Your Care Package will also include soap, shampoo and a
shaving kit (Operation Clean Shave) plus other personal hygiene
and quality-of-life items. And, as winter is upon them, hand
warmers and blankets will be sent and, of course, special treats
to remind them of home, such as Pop Tarts®, Kellogg's® Rice
Krispies Treats (a favorite), beef sticks, tuna packets, trail
mix, and cookies.

And perhaps most importantly, each Care Package
contains an encouraging note with your words of support and
appreciation boosting the morale of our Troops! Perhaps your Care
Package will get into the hands of a Service Member that you know
like Dawn and Gus' did!
