Johh,

Everyone deserves the opportunity to live their truth and marry who they love. That is why I am so proud that today, my colleagues and I passed the Respect for Marriage Act.

This critical piece of legislation is one step in ensuring that members of the LGBTQ+ community and interracial couples can live with the knowledge and security that their rights to choose the path of their lives and build a home will be fully safeguarded.

But I also know the work isn't over. People all over our country still face bigoted discrimination or worse for simply being themselves. As a government, we must act to ensure that our constituents feel safe and respected in their daily lives.

I promise to continue fighting for more legislation that will protect the rights of the American people. If you're ready to join me in that fight, add your name today >>

Thank you,

Diana
