We know it’s only been one month since Election Day 2022. But our Contest Every Race team actually has two candidate filing deadlines coming up THIS MONTH for important local 2023 races.

We’re recruiting in Illinois and Missouri right now to make sure local offices on the ballot in 2023 are not just being handed to Republicans without any opposition.

A refresher, our Contest Every Race program works with other organizations to recruit candidates up and down the ballot – specifically recruiting for offices that Republicans have held for a long time without any challenges.

Despite recruiting for very hard races, we still win roughly 50 percent of the time.

If we want to build progressive power everywhere, we have to make sure we’re contesting races all over the country at every level. It costs us roughly $500 to recruit a candidate into a race and provide some basic training for them to run. Can you donate $10 right now to help us challenge as many Republicans as possible?
