Prepare for snow

Please note that parking is prohibited on Village streets when two inches or more of snow has accumulated, one inch in the downtown business area. Keeping cars off the streets helps our crews clear the roads faster and prevents your car from being plowed in. Street parking can resume once the snow stops, and the streets have been plowed.

When clearing snow, remember not to deposit snow on
the roadway. Shoveling, plowing or blowing snow into public streets causes driving hazards and is prohibited by Village ordinance. In addition, keep garbage cans and recycling totes out of the street so that the plows do not hit them.

Although our plow drivers take care to selectively
place snow, sometimes snow must be placed at
intersections and heaped on parkways.?Help keep yourself and your neighbors safe by shoveling curb ramps and digging out fire
hydrants so they can be accessed quickly in a fire.
