Friend, let me tell you the story of Kelvin Santacruz, a DACA recipient and older brother…
Growing up in Los Angeles, Kelvin was taught early on by his parents the power of hard work and opportunity. He went on to graduate from Georgetown University last year, and got a dream job in tech in New York City. Kelvin’s success is a product of the opportunities his parents were able to give him. But, his DACA status makes it all feel fleeting. He knows that, at any moment, a court could throw his dream away. 😔
Now, Kelvin is joining us to demand that Congress pass citizenship for him and thousands of immigrant youth this year! Listen to more of Kelvin’s story below:

Like Kelvin said in the video, the end of DACA would mean years of work and effort by immigrants and allies stripped away. 💔 And while Kelvin himself has DACA, his younger brother was too young to apply before first-time applications were stopped. Which once again shows how DACA is not enough and that the time is ticking for Congress to take concrete action and pass citizenship! Immigrant youth and DACA recipients like myself, Kelvin, and our families are tired of temporary, we need permanent protections! 😤
❗️If you agree that time is ticking for citizenship, friend, join us in taking action today for Kelvin and all immigrant youth by sending a letter to your Congress member:

Your letter can get us closer to making our dream of citizenship a reality this year. 🧡
