Tree maintenance to take place on state-owned properties in Thurston County Dec. 12

*Scope & impact: *Treatments of trees will take place at multiple state-owned locations. Vehicle and pedestrian traffic will not be impacted.

*When:* Monday, Dec. 12, beginning at 8 a.m.

*Where:* The work will take place at three locations managed by the Department of Enterprise Services:


* West Capitol Campus, five yellow poplars
* Sylvester Park, one elm
* The modular building at 7580 New Market Street S.W. in
Tumwater, 14 oaks

*Why:* The application of non-spray pest control treatment will protect the trees from insect damage.
