We envision a world, and a country, that is just and equitable...

Dear John,
We envision a world, and a country, that is just and equitable. That includes everyone. And that provides opportunity for all.
To achieve that vision, we ALL must work towards it. And we must ensure that the leaders, advocates, and activists on the front lines have the tools and expertise they need to amplify their impact.
But too often, we communicate in silos, failing to convey a shared narrative that drives lasting policy and culture change. And unfortunately, history has shown us that those who oppose our values successfully develop effective and unified messaging that reinforces narratives that hold us back. Those of us engaged in the struggle to overcome white supremacy and to build a just and equitable world must do better!
This is the mission of The Opportunity Agenda. We work to develop strategic narratives and messaging that build power and drive change. We work to strengthen the impact of those engaged in furthering social justice with intensive, interactive narrative and communications training – free of charge.

We've got lots of great partnerships that are doing exactly that. This year, in a partnership with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP), we developed a training curriculum focused on economic justice and provided a series of trainings and ongoing support to 21 CBPP network organizations around the country. We helped them implement messaging grounded in shared values that tells a story of how state budget policies can shape the future of our communities.
In one example, network member trainee California Budget & Policy Center has already put their work and learning to use, applying values-based messaging to all their communications materials ―social media, events, factsheets, and even their 2022 website relaunch.
