I wanted to make sure you saw this: According to a new poll from Navigator Research, 72% of Americans rank the passage of my Momnibus Act as their number one priority for an end-of-year package! 

Our nation has the highest maternal mortality rate of any high-income country, and more than 80 percent of these deaths are preventable according to the CDC, John.

My Black Maternal Health “Momnibus” Act is the solution to this crisis. This legislation would address every aspect of maternal health by investing in community-based organizations, advancing maternal health research, growing the perinatal workforce, and expanding access to care. 

I spoke on the House floor about the urgent need to pass this legislation to save moms’ lives:

Moms can’t wait, and Congress must pass the Momnibus as soon as possible.
