Happy New Year!

Here at Heifer International, we are already hard at work to see how we can help as many families as possible lift themselves out of hunger and poverty in 2020. But I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past year.

Quite simply — I am overwhelmed by the compassion and generosity that you — and thousands of members of this community — have shown this past year.

On behalf of our entire team, and Heifer families worldwide, THANK YOU.

By taking the time in 2019 to help those less fortunate, you made Heifer a force that has transformed entire communities. Because of you, there are thousands of families — many of whom for the first time — that can greet the new year without fear of hunger or worry about the future of their children. Instead, 2020 is filled with hope and security because they know they can earn steady income and provide for their families.

There is still a lot of work to be done — but I am heartened to have kind, generous people like you by our side as we work to give people the hand up — not the handout — that they need to thrive for years to come.

Thank you for all you have helped us accomplish, and for all you'll help us do in the year ahead.
