Like you, I was thrilled to see Senator Raphael Warnock pull off a victory on Tuesday! 

Our efforts through Democratic Majority Action, together with partners on the ground, made an undeniable difference in this very close race.

To have the biggest impact possible, we worked with groups in Georgia to find gaps in the GOTV push -- and a critical one we were well-suited to fill was outreach to the many veterans and military personnel based in Georgia. I’m so proud that our investments helped motivate the robust active duty and veteran populations to cast their vote in this critical runoff election. 

We partnered with National Security Leaders for America to run radio advertisements throughout the state -- including around Georgia’s 13 military bases -- reminding voters of their duty to show up and support Senator Warnock. We also delivered compelling written advertisements that were printed in the top three major newspapers in Georgia ahead of yesterday’s election. 

All of this matters tremendously in such an important race. And what this means for our nation is hard to overstate. A 51st Democratic senator strips Mitch McConnell of his best tool to delay and block key nominees and legislation. Keeping another Trump acolyte who embraces the most extreme MAGA agenda out of the Senate is a triumph for democracy as we know it.

I want to take a moment today to thank you for your support -- we truly could not have done any of this without people like you stepping up and pitching in. The fact that this team was ready and able to spring into action around another Georgia runoff after working our hearts out ahead of the November midterms is simply incredible.

Thank you for defending our democracy in this vitally important way -- not just in this Georgia runoff, but all year long. I’m profoundly grateful to do this work with you.
