East King County PUD Announcement

Greetings from the East King County Public Utility team! We’re working hard to ensure that King County voters have an opportunity to vote for a public utility to replace Puget Sound Energy as our electricity provider. We’re just getting started with LOTS to do.

We’re organizing around regions within the proposed service area so we can collect 35,000 signatures by 3 July 2020, which is required to get on the ballot. The proposed service area and regions are shown below. Let us know if you or the organizations you’re involved in want to help us meet our goals in any or all of these regions.

We’re kicking off our signature collection effort in Kirkland (region 2 above) and then will quickly follow with other regions. Please join us for our kickoff meeting to learn more. All are welcome regardless of where you live and work.
