A community conversation was held to hear from youth and youth advocates about issues they face in our city.
On Saturday, December 3rd, Councilmember Trayon White held a community conversation about issues facing youth and young adults in the District.
Members from the Office of Councilmember Trayon White heard powerful and passionate testimony from youth and youth advocates working in our city tackling these issues firsthand.
"We have work to do when facing issues of housing/homelessness, workforce development, and public safety," stated Councilmember White. "We must unify as a city and make changes, by adding funds to the budget and curing the issues holding back our youth and young adults."
Councilmember White is in the process of scheduling additional conversations to ensure that these are considered priority items for budget season.
