John, we got word
of some exciting news we wanted to share with you.

The former District Attorney, Jackie Johnson, who tried to let the white
supremacists who killed Ahmaud Arbery go free has finally received a court
date.

Johnson is a DISGRACEFUL prosecutor who violated her oath and interfered
in the case by telling the cops NOT to arrest the white supremacists who
chased down and murdered Ahmaud Arbery.

This is why our movement to elect pro-civil rights DAs is so important.
Proof that justice can be thrown out the window with a corrupt DA in
power.

If our partners at Grassroots Law Project didn’t jump in and bring
nationwide attention to Ahmaud’s case, his white supremacist murderers
might still be free today.

Prosecutors like Johnson are EXACTLY the kind that we are fighting to
replace with every new race we get involved in.

[ [link removed] ]So can we count on you to continue our fight into 2023 to elect as
many new DAs as possible and protect as many current progressive leaders
as we can? It’s our job to put racists like Jackie Johnson OUT of a job
from a DA’s office and replace them with champions for justice and
accountability.

Travis McMichael, who shot and killed Ahmaud then openly called him the
n-word, was sentenced to life WITHOUT the possibility of parole.

Greg McMichael, who was very much the mastermind of the chase, and then
worked with the local DA to cover it up, was sentenced to life WITHOUT the
possibility of parole.

And William Roddie Bryan, who chased Ahmaud with his truck, cornering and
hitting him with it, before he was killed, and filmed it all, was
sentenced to life WITH the possibility of parole.

These are the men that were almost not arrested because of former DA
Jackie Johnson. She wanted to keep this under wraps.

And unfortunately, Jackie Johnson is not unique when it comes to taking
advantage of power. There are countless DAs committing crimes just like
this, obstructing justice.

And we need your support to replace as many of these kinds of DAs as
possible — which is why we are working so hard on our End of Year goal, to
ensure we have the financial backing to keep fighting for civil rights.

[ [link removed] ]So, can we count on you to make a donation right now to fund our fight
ahead? Together, we can take down DAs just like Jackie Johnson EVERYWHERE.

In solidarity,

Real Justice
