John,

Voting is a right, not a privilege, and we need to start treating it like one.

First: Moore v. Harper, a fringe legal case that started in North Carolina, was introduced when the state legislature drew incredibly gerrymandered maps.

Then: The North Carolina Supreme Court stepped in and said that those maps did not comply with our state constitution.

Now: The Republican Speaker of the House challenged this ruling, claiming that state courts have no say.

He’s wrong.

All elections must be free and fair, and the maps drawn did not reflect that principle. If the Supreme Court agrees with him, state legislatures across the country will be able to gerrymander their states without fear of judicial oversight.

This would be absolutely disastrous for our democracy.

Can you rush in $25 to keep me fighting for voters to choose their politicians, and not the other way around?
