Dear John,
Over 3.5 million voters raised their voices in the Georgia Senate runoff, many braving long lines and wet weather to elect Senator Raphael Warnock to a second term in the U.S. Senate.
This momentous victory strengthens our pro-climate majority, an achievement that will help advance climate progress and create good paying jobs in clean energy.
This is in large part thanks to your support and the support of EDF Action’s powerful community of caring and committed environmental advocates. Together with our partners and allies in the state, we registered voters, knocked on doors and helped mobilize thousands of climate voters across Georgia.
But our work is just beginning. As a new Congress takes shape, we’re excited to work with climate champions like Senator Warnock to advance policies that build a cleaner and healthier planet. Now, thanks to climate voters across Georgia, we’re prepared to fight even harder to strengthen environmental legislation and advance nominees that can help us make a difference.
So, thank you… Thank you… Thank you! It is times like these that we feel especially humbled and honored to have you with us as we advocate for climate progress in Washington, across the country and around the world.
In solidarity,
Jeremy Pittman
