John Each year on December 7th we celebrate the anniversary of Delaware becoming the first state in the nation in 1787!
Our beloved Delaware led the nation in ratifying the U.S. Constitution. Since then, we’ve continued to stand at the forefront of progress by enacting policies that improved the lives of those who call Delaware home.
From being among the first states to protect abortion rights and pass common sense gun safety measures, to providing paid family and medical leave, and taking steps to tackle the climate crisis, Delaware has maintained its position as an example for other states in the union.
It is our duty to carry the torch as the nation’s leader in responsive, ethical government, which means electing Democrats who will fight for our rights, freedoms, and opportunities. Will you donate $17.87 to commemorate the year we became a state and help Delaware continue charting the path forward? |
Thanks so much for your consideration and support! Warmest Regards Betsy |
