Please join the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) to learn about how export and trade compliance communities can support regulatory IT modernization efforts.

We will describe how we are enhancing our respective application platforms for customer-centered approaches to better understand the needs of the defense and dual-use trade communities. We’ll also discuss opportunities for cross-agency collaboration and data sharing. We’ll specifically address:

• DDTC: Recent IT updates and DECCS enhancements
• BIS’s IT modernization roadmap
• Customer experience opportunities to enhance data sharing across DDTC and BIS
