Michigan Democrats had an historically strong year in the 2022 midterms, folks.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer won re-election in a double-digit landslide, and for the first time in 40 years, Democrats now control the Michigan governorship, state House and state Senate.

These results have led to Michigan being one of the key Democratic strongholds in the Midwest, and a prime candidate to choose the direction the Democratic Party heads in 2024 and beyond.
