OVC is excited to release an update to Child Victims and Witnesses Support Materials that offer age appropriate resources to support children and youth during their involvement with the justice system as a victim or witness to a crime.
This update was announced at the 17th National Indian Nations Conference and includes a new set of picture books, comic books, and graphic novels featuring artwork and stories developed by Native artists and authors that focus on the unique challenges faced by child victims and witnesses in Tribal communities.
The materials are designed for children in three different age groups: 2?6, 7?12, and 13?18.
Guides for practitioners and caregivers are also available.
