I am still reflecting on the critical work we did together in Michigan. Not only did voters reelect me and my colleagues in Congress, but we flipped MI-03 blue for Hillary Scholten and elected a powerful trifecta to state government.
Your support along the way made a huge difference, and I am always thankful to have you in my corner.
Our work isn’t over yet though. Frankly, we’re going to need to work even harder.
My colleagues and I have a few more weeks of the current Congress to finish strong and fight for powerful solutions that solve problems the average American is facing every day. Come January, a new Congress will be sworn into office and Republicans will hold a narrow majority in the chamber.
If you know me, you know I am a firm believer in working across the aisle, and I am confident that House Democrats will be able to unite together on critical issues that need to be solved so we can work with our colleagues across the aisle to deliver for America.
