The Democratic candidates are coming to Michigan tomorrow for the Democratic National Committee's July presidential debates. That's why we need to push every single one of them to commit to protecting the Great Lakes before they take the debate stage.
The Great Lakes Agenda calls for bold investments in our nation's water including:
- Tripling funding for the Clean and Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Funds
- Increasing critical restoration funding to do things like clean up toxic contamination and restore wetlands
- Protecting drinking water from dangerous toxic chemicals like PFAS
- Supporting funding for ports and marine infrastructure like the Soo Locks that help power Michigan's economy
Clean drinking water should be a right and not a privilege. Tell ALL the 2020 presidential candidates you agree:

Every single candidate running for president needs to understand that protecting the Great Lakes means keeping a majority of the nation's fresh water safe for everyone.
Thanks for signing.
