About the job
The Contracts and Procurement Division (C&P) is currently hiring two Procurement Strategists. This leadership position helps staff in their development by means of advising, coaching, and mentoring in all aspects of procurement, and leads complex and challenging procurements and contracts within the area of goods and services. In this role, you will be responsible for helping state agencies and political subdivisions access effective commercial solutions, using state buying power to improve the value of every dollar spent, and making it easy to do business with the state. You will interpret and apply statewide procurement and contracting laws, rules, policies, and best practices, and help draft procurement procedures for C&P.
