NTTC Book of the Month

Reasons to stay alive

This months Reading Well book choice is by Matt Haig, novelist and mental health campaigner. Reasons to Stay Alive is Matts memoir about depression. Aged 24, his world caved in. He could see no way to go on living. This is the true story of how he came through crisis, triumphed over an illness that almost destroyed him and learned to live again.

Available from libraries as a book or e-book this is a moving, funny and joyous exploration of how to live better, love better and feel more alive.

One reviewer said The short chapters and easy narrative are perfect for a frazzled mind and allowed me to pick it up and put it down as and when I needed.
