With our big end-of-month deadline just two days away, I want to share what the DC establishment has been saying about this race:

Hi there -- with our big end-of-month deadline just two days away, I want to share what the DC establishment has been saying about this race:

  1. John Cornyn, MJ’s opponent and 17-year senator, is saying that Texas is “no longer the reliably red state we have been.”
  2. Political operative Karl Rove said that “after reviewing the data [him]self,” he thinks Texas could turn blue in 2020.
  3. And now Senator Ted Cruz is predicting "staggering Democratic turnout" in the 2020 election.

(with your support, we can make their fears a reality >>>)

What does it all mean? They’re worried. Texas is changing. But as someone who’s worked on a lot of campaigns, I can tell you that these predictions will only come true if we MAKE them come true.

And that’s exactly what we’re trying to do on Team MJ -- but we can’t do it without you. So, will you chip in to our $50,000 end-of-month goal to prove them RIGHT and send a fiercely independent Texan to represent us in Washington?

Your generous donation will be put right to work, doing things like:

  1. Helping MJ get across the huge state of Texas to talk to voters from El Paso to Houston
  2. Laying the groundwork for a strong organizing program
  3. Paying for digital and TV ads that spread this campaign’s message to every corner of the state
  4. Hiring talented staff to build a campaign that can take on any challenge (something MJ knows a lot about!)

I’ll be honest -- running a statewide campaign in Texas isn’t cheap. We set ambitious goals, but I know this committed team won’t let us down.

Will you chip in now to help us build the campaign we need to defeat an 17-year incumbent and send MJ to fight for Texas in Washington?

-- Preston
