At Team MDP headquarters, we’re still celebrating and reflecting on the victorious 2022 election cycle for Michigan Democrats.

Before we break for the holidays to recharge our batteries, I want to quickly remind you of the work that is ahead of us. In a couple of weeks, Michigan’s new legislature will be sworn into office. Democrats will be in charge, but that doesn’t mean the road ahead will be easy. Here’s why: 

36 of the 72 incoming GOP lawmakers in Michigan are election deniers. From joining the January 6th insurrection to publicly spreading election misinformation, these election deniers will be sworn in to represent Michiganders in Lansing.

Not only do we have to protect our elections from these extremists, but we need to hold them accountable for their direct action to undermine faith in Michigan’s election system.

Stand with Michigan Democrats today by making a contribution to the MDP today. With your support, Michigan Democrats will stand up against election deniers who want to put up barriers to the ballot box for future elections.
