A note from Team Ferguson: Starting Friday at midnight — just 3 days from now — Washington state law requires a mandatory “freeze” on all fundraising for state elected officials — including Bob. The freeze lasts as long as the state legislature is in session, which means Bob can’t raise a dime in campaign contributions until next spring. We turn off our donation page and return any checks that come in the mail — no exceptions!

Will you support Bob’s campaign in the final days before the freeze by making a contribution right now? ([link removed])

This year, I worked with my team to stand up for Washingtonians, defend our values, and hold powerful interests accountable to the rule of law.

Here are just a few recent highlights:

* Washington state is receiving over half a billion dollars following a six-month-long lawsuit against three Fortune 15 drug companies. I rejected a national deal and took opioid distributors McKesson Corporation, Cardinal Health, and AmerisourceBergen to court. As a result, Washington is receiving significantly more money, all of which will go directly toward repairing the harms of the opioid epidemic across our state.
* I’m continuing to take on the gun lobby in court. Earlier this year, the legislature adopted my proposal to implement a statewide ban on high-capacity magazines. The gun lobby wants to overturn this common-sense, life-saving measure. I’ve taken on the gun lobby and the NRA in court before. I’ve won every time — and I’ll do it again.
* I filed a lawsuit against Facebook’s parent company Meta for violating campaign finance laws in Washington. Thanks to our lawsuit, a judge ruled that Facebook is required to pay the maximum $25 million penalty, plus millions more to pay for our costs and fees.
* I went to court regarding a proposed merger between Kroger and Albertsons that would harm Washington consumers — and won. This merger could lead to drastically less competition among grocery stores in Washington and across the country. As part of the proposed merger, Albertsons planned to pay private equity investors a dividend payment of $4 billion dollars before authorities, like me, had the opportunity to fully review the move. We asked for, and the court granted, a temporary restraining order stopping the $4 billion payment nationwide.
* I joined a coalition of attorneys general to support the DOJ’s lawsuit against Idaho's near-total abortion ban. The ban was so extreme that it violated federal law that requires physicians to perform life-saving, medically necessary care. We won, and a federal judge blocked the ban.
* I successfully passed reforms to make hospital care more affordable. Thanks to legislation I proposed and the legislature passed, 4 million Washingtonians have access to more affordable hospital care — more than half are able to go to a hospital without paying anything out of pocket.

These are just a few of the big fights my team and I took on to protect Washingtonians and defend our values.

Will you make a contribution today so I can keep fighting for you? We need to keep pushing to hit our $100K goal. ([link removed])

Thank you,

Bob
