Hi Friend, Christmas could be canceled for many workers if Biden’s Department of Labor (DOL) has its way and pushes forward with its latest job-killing regulations.  The DOL has proposed new restrictions on independent contracting that will hit every independent worker across the country. This includes workers like Patrick Turnbull (you can watch IWF’s video telling his story here), who is a seasonal independent contractor who has been Santa Claus each holiday season for 20 years.  Patrick’s opportunities were slashed when California restricted independent contracting work; now Santas and other seasonal workers may be similarly hit by the DOL’s crackdown on gig economy jobs through its disastrous new regulations.  TAKE ACTION This senseless regulation could leave seasonal workers literally centless.  We’ve had enough things, people, and jobs canceled this year.
