Dear friend, 

One in every seven American children lives in poverty. That's an enormous number, and it's well past time to do something about it. That's why I'm proud to announce that last month, I introduced the Lifting American Children from Poverty Act of 2022 to create a government-wide task force to address the issue. 

We can't sit by while kids don't have a stable place to sleep or enough food to eat. My bill invests in solutions to ensure kids in every community have the resources they need to succeed.
