Sean's known affectionately as the “Biggest Nerd in Congress,” but if you ask me, he’s also the #1 advocate for climate action in the House.

That’s why I’d like to propose a new title for Sean: Climate Champion!

Here’s a nonexhaustive list of Sean’s work to address climate change:

• Cosponsored the End Oil and Gas Tax Subsidies Act to eliminate massive tax breaks for the fossil fuel industry
• Sponsored the Bipartisan Promoting Grid Storage Act to expand the use of clean energy in our electrical grids
• Member of the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis
• Secured investments for the national climate research as part of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology
• Fought for an expanded infrastructure package that addresses the root causes of climate change
• Scored 100% on the League of Conservation Voters’ National Environmental Scorecard for 2021 – meaning that Sean voted for every single pro-environment measure and against every anti-environment measure

Sean’s fighting for what is scientifically necessary to combat climate change, not just what’s politically convenient.
