Fellow Conservative,

In the upcoming National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) language, there is an opportunity to repeal the Covid-19 vaccine mandate for the military, but President Biden has come out against such a repeal.

Congress must repeal the mandate.

First, this mandate is unjust. It was wrong to fire our nation’s heroes for a personal medical decision. Our military service members put their lives on their line for us, and they deserved better. We can’t change what happened, but Congress can start today to right this wrong.

Not only is this mandate overbearing, but it has virtually no cause to exist. Of all the Covid-19 related deaths 0.62% were people aged 18-29. This age group makes up 66.4% of the military, meaning the ones most affected by the mandate are the ones least harmed by Covid. The mandate is disproportionately inconsistent.

Importantly, this vaccine mandate is affecting everyone—not only those in the military. The vaccine mandate has made our entire nation less secure by hurting military readiness and recruitment.

3,717 Marines, 1,816 Soldiers, and 2,064 Sailors have been "discharged for refusing to get vaccinated”. It cost millions upon millions of dollars to recruit and train these individuals—firing them was a waste of taxpayer investment.

And 2022 has been the hardest year for military recruitment in 50 years. The U.S. Army fell short of its 2022 recruitment goal by 25%, and will experience a shortage of 10,000 personnel

For the first time ever, The Heritage Foundation has found the military’s strength to be “weak”. There is absolutely no reason to continue to endanger the military’s effectiveness by continuing this unjust vaccine mandate.

ACT TODAY >>> Call your representative now and tell them to fight for a repeal of the vaccine mandate in the upcoming National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Thank you for taking a stand.
