As the end of the year approaches, I wanted to make sure that you know about Oregon’s Political Tax Credit. The State of Oregon gives eligible tax-paying Oregonians a $50 gift ($100 for couples filing jointly) that you can donate to a qualified political group, including OLCV PAC. By contributing today, you can help us continue electing environmental champions and it won’t cost you a dime.

You are eligible for Oregon’s Political Tax Credit if: 

• You are an Oregon resident.
• You will submit an Oregon tax return for 2022.
• You make less than $75,000 (individual) or $150,000 (couple filing jointly).

In the 2022 General Election, the message from voters was very clear: we want climate action and we want climate leadership. Because climate voters came out in force this election, Oregon's next governor will be a climate champ and we protected our pro-climate and pro-environment majorities in the state Senate and House.

But winning elections is just the first step. We have to continue showing up every election, every legislative session, every day, and demanding action on issues that are important to us.
