You may have received a goodbye email from CREDO Action. We want to acknowledge and appreciate the great work done by our CREDO Action team, and share the future of CREDO with you; a future in which we continue to strongly support progressive values and philanthropy.

Since 1985, CREDO is and has been a business that works for social change. That commitment to social change has been extensive: we have donated more than $88 million to progressive non-profits, and have funded a team working to engage millions of people in direct progressive activism.

The CREDO Action team spent almost 20 years organizing progressives to fight both Republican extremism and Democratic cowardice. They made significant contributions to the progressive movement and helped millions of activists fight for a world where everyone – across lines of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, immigration status, ability, class – enjoys equity, liberation, opportunity, safety and joy. We are very thankful for the impressive work the team accomplished.

At CREDO, we remain deeply committed to advancing our shared progressive values; however we will no longer be engaging in direct activism campaigns. We believe our philanthropy is the best possible way to advance our values, through the impressive and experienced groups and causes to whom we donate each month. Therefore, we will direct our community efforts solely through our philanthropy, continuing to support the groups and causes who give voice to those who need it most, where it is most needed, including Planned Parenthood, Rainforest Action Network, Doctors Without Borders, Amnesty International and dozens upon dozens of other important progressive groups.
