I wanted to tell you about one of the growing threats to life.

I hope you are doing well and getting into the holiday spirit. As a mom, my house is so fun right now! It’s a joy to see my children’s smiles as they decorate the Christmas tree with lights.

But even during this wonderful time of the year, you and I can’t forget that the fight for life continues. That’s why I needed to touch base to tell you about a growing challenge… the abortion pill.

Also known as “remote abortions,” the abortion pill is one of the biggest threats to life today. The regimen includes two medications: one that kills the child, and another that expels the child from their mom (often in the bathroom).

This may surprise you, but the abortion pill now accounts for around 50% of all abortions.

Planned Parenthood is trying to expand abortion access through the pill — and so far, they succeeded. The FDA made the pill easy to obtain. A mom doesn’t even have to see a doctor. She can be prescribed the pill over the phone and have it shipped to her. It’s often mailed from a foreign country.

This all puts moms in great danger. Pregnancy complications like ectopic pregnancies are not detected without an ultrasound or examination. Additionally, confirming the child’s age is essential because the pill can only be taken in the first 10 weeks of pregnancy. So, if a mom misjudges when she got pregnant and takes the pill past 10 weeks, the results can be extremely dangerous to her as well.

Planned Parenthood tells moms the pill will merely cause “ cramping and bleeding to empty your uterus.” They give tips on how to be more “ comfortable ” during it. They recommend moms “ stock up on maxi pads, food, books, movies, or whatever you like to help pass the time.”

But the killing of a child is not comfortable. It’s physically and emotionally painful. Many moms are often traumatized to see their child afterward. That’s because by 10-weeks’ gestation, children have bodies with little hands and feet.

Planned Parenthood sells the abortion pill as a quick fix. And it hurts moms and kills their children. Moms considering an abortion need you more than ever before.

You need to know the truth: Planned Parenthood is winning right now. Not only are they pushing the abortion pill, but they are also raising and spending more money. And most concerning, they are increasing the number of abortions they perform.

This is happening while many in the pro-life movement sleep. Many assume the rescue mission ended with Roe.

But abortion is still available in about 75% of the country. Only 13 states protect children from abortion. And even in states with protections, the abortion pill can be shipped anywhere with little oversight and poses a real threat to children in the womb.
