Thousands In Minnesota May Lose SNAP Benefits

A new federal rule is cutting benefits to people receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, also known as food stamps. According to the Minnesota Department of Human Services, this rule will mean 8,000 Minnesotans could go hungry.

Washington politicians cut taxes on the wealthiest Americans and largest corporations, causing our national deficit to skyrocket. Now vulnerable members of our society are paying the price.
