Health Justice

Today’s Health Justice newsletter focuses on the critical need for funding BIPOC-led organizations and their work to advance health equity. We start with building the case for racial equity in grantmaking and examine how data can be used to ensure BIPOC-led organizations are receiving funding support. Next, we highlight Black and Indigenous efforts working towards food justice. We begin by exploring movement building efforts towards Black food sovereignty. We then hear how COVID-19 led an Indigenous-led coalition to center food justice in its efforts to advance birth equity. Finally, NPQ is currently hiring for several roles, apply for consideration.
