Hold your members of Congress accountable: pass PASTEUR

Advocate,

There are only a handful of days left in the Congressional calendar, and with that, we have limited opportunities left to pass the
PASTEUR Act ([link removed]).

It’s as simple as this: Because people with cystic fibrosis live with a heightened risk for infection, and antibiotic resistance infections are not going away, we need new antibiotics to treat infections. According to research by the Centers for Disease Control, the U.S. already spends $4.6 billion annually to respond to these types of infections. Passing the PASTEUR Act can save lives — and money — by fostering a healthy pipeline of antibiotics.

Its time to hold your members of Congress accountable.
Urge action from your members of Congress ([link removed])
to pass PASTEUR. We can’t wait any longer for new antibiotics.

TAKE ACTION ([link removed])

The time for action is now. Delays in the passage of the PASTEUR Act are delays in developing novel antimicrobials to treat highly resistant, life-threatening infections. Let’s get the PASTEUR Act passed!

Thank you for all you do,

David Elin
