Dear Friend of IDP,

Every day when our hotline rings, we answer. Just as you do when your loved ones call. But the difference is, we know there isn’t good news on the other end. There is fear, confusion, and often tears.

At the Immigrant Defense Project (IDP), we believe that all immigrants, including those who have been arrested and convicted, have a fundamental right to fairness, dignity, and respect. But those rights are being trampled on each day in the arrest-to-deportation pipeline that funnels thousands of immigrants for mass imprisonment and deportation.

Despite the challenges, IDP is a constant. Our hotline is a starting point for more than 800 immigrants every year to receive counsel and care while navigating a system riddled with barriers.
