This time, he’s trying to attach the deal to the National Defense Authorization Act, which Congress will vote on any day now.

In September, the frontlines stood up to Senator Manchin and Senator Schumer and defeated this dirty side deal that would undermine our bedrock environmental laws, fast-track fossil fuel projects, and sacrifice environmental justice communities to more. Unfortunately, during the final weeks of this Congress, lawmakers are attempting to revive the Dirty Deal. New handouts to the fossil fuel industry are unacceptable during a climate crisis; it's critical that we keep up the pressure.
