4-8 PM at the MDIFW headquarters in Augusta

Whether you are new to ice fishing or a seasoned angler, this workshop will have something for anyone interested in being an ice fishing instructor. This workshop is designed for those who are already Hooked On Fishing Not On Drugs (HOFNOD) certified or are looking to become certified with ice fishing derbies, season and clinics in mind.

Workshop participants will:

• Learn the A-Z's of to how to ice fish and what is ice fishing
• Be introduced to activities and curriculum that focus on Maine-specific fisheries and waters
• Demonstrate hands-on application of ice fishing instruction
• Receive a swag bag and binder of free resources for instruction
• Network with other angling enthusiasts from beginner to expert!

If you are not already a certified Hooked on Fishing instructor, you can complete the National Hooked on Fishing-Not on Drugs online training component prior to attending December 15th.
