Today is the last day to vote in the Georgia Senate runoff election! VoteRiders needs your help to spread the word.

Did you know that Georgia has one of the strictest voter ID laws in the country? That means that a lot of people might not bring the right ID with them, or might just stay home because they’re confused about what ID they can or can’t use. With student IDs from many of the state's largest HBCUs (historically Black colleges and universities) not accepted at polling places, this burden is intensified for young Black voters.

For months, VoteRiders has been working across Georgia, and at HBCUs in particular, to help get voters the ID info they need to cast a ballot that counts. Today is the final push — help us spread the word by sharing our resources with your social networks!

Ever since the runoff election was announced last month, VoteRiders has been working around the clock to reach eligible voters, especially young voters of color. We doubled our staff on the ground, we’re running radio and digital ads, and we’ve sent hundreds of thousands of letters and text messages to eligible voters in Georgia.

Tonight, polls will close and we don’t want anyone to be left out of the process. You can help by sharing our resources with your networks and referring anyone with questions to our voter ID Helpline at 844-338-8743.
