I wish this was a nostalgic email about John, Paul, Ringo, George, and the Beatles -- but it's not.

Sorry if that subject line misled you, but do you remember John Boehner and Paul Ryan?

Remember when John blocked Barack Obama's agenda in the House and led the effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act? Remember when Paul became Speaker and he worked to enable Donald Trump and roll back all the progress we made under Barack's presidency?

Now ask yourself this, do you want Donald Trump's closest ally in the House, Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, to be the next Speaker after the 2020 elections?

If your answer is "HECK NO!" then you've got to stand with Suzan DelBene and our grassroots effort to protect the Democratic majority while our amazing presidential candidates work to defeat Donald Trump. Chip in $5 or more before our end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline.

We have to elect a Democratic president in 2020 -- there is no debate about that -- but we must also make sure there is Democratic Majority in Congress.

It's the only way we can really clean up the mess Trump and his allies have made and pass into law progressive priorities like protecting a woman's right to choose, ending LGBTQ+ discrimination, taking on climate change, raising the minimum wage, getting big money out of politics, and so much more.
