Montana’s wildland firefighters and first responders are heroes—they put their lives on the line without hesitation to protect our families and local communities from devastating wildfires.
That’s why I teamed up with colleagues across the aisle to introduce and pass a bipartisan Senate resolution recognizing Montana's wildland firefighters and first responders for their bravery.
In addition to honoring their sacrifice, the bipartisan resolution calls for increased pay to fairly compensate their hard work keeping our communities safe.
I am glad to recognize Montana’s wildland firefighters and first responders for their bravery, sacrifice, and heroism, and will always work to ensure they have the resources and support they need every fire season.
