From soliciting a political bribe from the Ukrainian President to impulsively bringing us to the brink of a reckless war with Iran, President Trump has shown a dangerous and criminal disregard for the safety and security of our country at every turn.

All the while, Mitch McConnell and his Republican enablers have allowed this President to unleash endless chaos without even the slightest bit of accountability. I am continuing to fight as hard as ever in the Senate for justice on behalf of the American people, but with so much happening, it couldn't be more important for me to hear where you stand:

My colleagues in the House have fulfilled their solemn responsibility of upholding our country's rule of law by impeaching President Trump for his illegal abuses of power. Now, it's time for the Senate to demonstrate the same level of commitment to the facts and to our Constitution.

I will be doing everything in my power to keep Mitch McConnell from turning the Senate impeachment proceedings into a charade. To keep him from allowing President Trump to be in charge of his own trial. And as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, you can count on me to speak out and vote so that our country isn't put on the brink of a reckless war because of this President's ego.
