Dear John,
The threat of an escalation is real. Pressure must be kept on the White House. We must send a strong message that war and intervention are unacceptable, period. We urge you to join the dozens of "No War with Iran" demonstrations on January 9 and the Global Day of Protest set for January 25. A growing coalition of peace and justice organizations are asking us to hit the streets on both days.
Call your Congressional representative and Senators and demand that they assert their Constitutional authority to decide whether to declare war. We cannot allow this power to remain in the hands of any president, let alone Trump. Call 202-224-3121 and ask to be connected to your Representative or Senator. Let's flood Congress with calls! Let's make our voices heard!
