Dear Friends;

As it usually does during an election year, time has flown by. The year is coming to an end, but our team is tirelessly working to make sure that we get as many IDs as possible this holiday season.

Because of Spread The Vote + Project ID, 10,000 individuals have the IDs that they need to get a job, access holiday gift programs and food pantries, sleep in a warm bed, and start 2023 off right.

With your support, we're helping people like Matt. He is living in a transitional housing program. He ran into legal trouble and lost his ID about two years ago. Since then, he's been unable to access life-changing social services or apply for jobs.

By helping Matt to get an ID, we've helped him break free from the downward spiral that started when he lost it.


Along with the challenges that our clients face obtaining the documents that they need to get an ID, the are also up against a cost barrier. The average cost of an ID, and the items like birth certificates that are required to get one, is $40.

With close to 26 million Americans living without a valid ID, we've got a major challenge on our hands.

There is a way that you can help us tackle this crisis and meet our year-end fundraising goals. This year, why not give the gift of ID? When you make a gift of at least $10 in honor of a friend or family member, we'll send them a personalized card, along with a Project ID sticker.

Just visit the
Gift of ID ([link removed]) page, share with family and friends, select the "Give Your Gift in Honor of Somebody" box, and we will mail a card like the one below to your honoree! As always, your gift is tax-deductible.
