Missouri Net News [link removed] Puerto Rico Faces Earthquakes
Please keep our sisters and brothers of the Methodist Church of Puerto Rico in your prayers. They have been experiencing earthquakes for several days including a 6.4 magnitude earthquake yesterday, January 7. About two-thirds of the islands are without power and large parts without water. Leaders of the Methodist Church of Puerto Rico (IMPR) and REHACE (Rebuilding Communities with Hope) are already responding to this crisis.
Planting Academy
If you think God may be calling you to start something new, getting equipped and discerning your call through the Missouri Planting Academy is a great place to start. The Planting Academy is designed for persons who want to reach new people in fresh ways. Beginning February 2020, an intentional community will meet together monthly for 10 months to experience a culture of multiplication in an encouraging cohort. The Missouri Planting Academy is a leadership training initiative of the Office of Congregational Excellence and is open to all. [link removed] Registration deadline is Feb. 1, 2020.
