DSHS to close portion of Rainier School in Buckley

The Washington State Health Care Authority and Rainier School Program Area Team C, part of Washington State Department of Social and Health Services? Developmental Disabilities Administration, have reached an agreement on the closure of Rainier School PAT C.?

The closure date is July 31, 2023, or upon the last client transitioned out of PAT C, whichever is sooner. This provides time to safely support the transition of the remaining PAT C residents. The scope of this agreement is limited to PAT C operations and does not impact other Rainier School entities operating under separate programs or certifications.?
