When I was traveling up and down the campaign trail, I got to meet some really amazing people. I was beyond grateful to have a chance to talk about issues that mattered to them.
I know what it feels like to have an elected official sell out to big businesses, so I never accepted any corporate donations.
I know how hard it is for people experiencing homeless to get back on their feet, so I was a champion for affordable housing in the IL House.
I know how hard it is to find affordable and quality healthcare, so I wrote and passed a law that expanded Medicaid to senior citizens regardless of immigration status.
I always want to give our district a strong voice, but I have to know what to talk about. John, representing you is a constant process of listening and learning.
